We used to have a family membership at Nuffield at approx for £150 per calendar month. I have a young family as my kids go to rugby, football and swimming and very little time for us to get to a class of spinning at the gym that syncs with the family diary. When we ran the analyses we pretty much only went spinning. My wife could manage a class once a month and at best, I was attending a spinning class every 2 weeks.
Here I go with the big sell.
Theses are approx figures. The bike cost approx £2000 and the unlimited classes cost about £40 per month. With interest free credit from Klarna the month cost of the bike over 36 months is £60 per month. Which is a total of £100 per month.
Thats cheaper than our memberships at Nuffield already.
The class quality is insaine – good, well choreographed. The product is always developing with new themes for classes. You can select from a large pool of instructors, music genre, time and more. There are live metrics on screen, you have have a heart monitor, cadence, power and watt output all on screen. I also have a heart rate monitor. This you can keep an eye on the zones your heart rate enters.
There is a special feature you have to turn on which is function threshold power (FTP). It’s really powerful for zone training and is bespoke to you. When setting it up you must take a specific class to setup the zones and store the setting. This is unique to you and helps you monitor your performance.
I should mention it’s not just about spinning but find classes for yoga, strength, stretching, bootcamp and much more.
Look how many classes I’ve taken. This tells you the value of extracted. Even of the cost where the same the extra capture value is huge.
